I attached it to my home network and it worked faultlessly, both via wi-fi and cable. I also set it up so I could check on the house, via the internet, when I was away. The ability to both pan and tilt the device is very useful and there must be scores of applications where this could be used, provided a mains supply is available. While at home, I would move it to a different room in the house every few days, placing it on a window cill so that my sister, who lives in another part of the country, could get on the internet and admire the progress of our garden. When I bought this it was intended to add a feeling of security and that is exactly what it does. I am able to clearly see the front hallway of our home and the mobile access allows for convenient monitoring no matter where I am. The sound detection is very audible and the night vision feature is very well designed. Overall the camera brought our home a feeling of security and I am very thankful for that.
